Munich — (MunichNOW News) The Bavarian International School e.V. is pleased to open the doors of its Haimhausen Campus for two Open Days in conjunction with the 2017 MYP Personal Project Exhibition and IB Art Exhibition.
The Open Day on 22 March provides an ideal opportunity to learn about the Diploma Program (IB DP), a two-year curriculum designed for learners aged 11 – 16 by the International Baccalaureate (IB). The IB Art Exhibition is the culmination of a two-year program in which advanced art students at the International Baccalaureate Diploma level present their work.
This will be the last major exhibition before the end of the school year for our Grade 12 students. We hope that you won’t miss this unique opportunity to be inspired by the spectacular work they provide.
The Open Day on 23 March provides an ideal opportunity to learn about the Middle Years Program (IB MYP), a five-year curriculum designed for learners aged 11 – 16 by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).
The personal project, completed in Grade 10, is an important component of the IB MYP. Under a teacher’s supervision, our students learn to manage and direct their own inquiry and further develop the skills they have been learning through the IB MYP. Our Grade 10 students will present their personal projects. You will have the opportunity to speak personally with our students about their projects and the inquiry processes that culminated in the presentations.
On both days, 22nd and 23rd March, the Principal of the Secondary School, John Barker, will provide a presentation at 18:00 about the IB DP, IB CP and IB MYP program. You are cordially invited to join us!
