Anderson had won the slopestyle competition at X Games in 2012 and 2013 but finished second to Norway’s Silje Norendal at the 2014 X Games.

Finland’s Enni Rukajarvi, who won the X Games crown in 2011, grabbed the Olympic silver medal with a score of 92.50.

The bronze went to Jenny Jones, whose 87.25 score was good enough for Great Britain’s first-ever Winter Olympics medal on snow.
